Busted!!!
Interpol at Radio City...nothing short of spectacular, except they didn't play say hello to the angels. so i played the live version i have the entire cab ride back home. the opening band Blonde Redhead, so bad (it deserves bold text, but no hyperlink), i'm sorry to have mentioned it to you. nanster said she had a good time...after that opening act, anything is better...she likes the fact they get dressed up. ok, then.
on the way to penn to drop nan off at the train...we saw 2 co-workers, who were coming back from the Copa (Copa---ca--baaaaaaa---na, music and passion were always the fashion). no one knows we're dating...they had their suspicions...until now. we played it off like nothing but nan was a bit urked...we don't want people in our bi'ness and such...so we'll see how it turns out.
in other news...i finally got my powerbook, my question is how long will this paranoia of me dropping it or taking it out and getting kidnapped will last? didn't really get to do much w/ it b/c i got home late...but more to be done today!!! and i believe that nan's ipod is coming today or tomorrow...lucky bastard, she gets the 6G. i was thinking of selling my ipod to my coworker and buying one of the new ones...the ipod photo? naaahhh..what do i need that for?? so maybe the 20G, the U2 one isn't worth the jacked up price. anyway, w/ this texas hold'em tourney this weekend, let's see if mama needs a new ipod!!

Why won't this cough go away!!!
ok. it's been 2 weeks!! theraflu, dayquil, sudafed--nothing!!! why am i still coughing? why am i still going to work? oh yeah, b/c i like getting everyone there sick. there's nothing like teaching someone how to walk and coughing like a chain-smoking bingo playing grandma in his/her face.
so i'm still waiting for my powerbook and nan's ipod. i mean really, mr. jobs--how many of these items are u spewing out daily? you can't send one of each my way? i paid enough for them, gosh darn it.
i saw constantine last weekend, i actually liked it a lot...keanu was tolerable...i never read the comic, which is why i probably like it so much. nan was scared fecesless...which is probably another reason why i liked it so much. i watched hitch. please help me. the things we do for love.
oh yeah...and harold and kumar go to white castle...one of the greatest movies of our generation.
so snow patrol, in concert, in may...they were supposed to open for u2...god knows what happened...but at least i can see a whole show and then go to u2 the next day!!
we're going to a friday wedding...why, friday? nan and i are rushing out after work to try and make it home in time...damn it. and then it's off to jim/wink's on saturday. busy, busy weekend.

The new edition to the family... 
i bought a baby powerbook today. 4 lbs 6 ounces. unfortunately, it's still gestating in the apple orchard b/c NYU doesn't friggin' stock the stuff i need. i bought nancy's ipod mini (surprise for taking/hopefully passing her exam) a week ago, it too wasn't in stock and still wasn't in today.
i'm cranky b/c there's nothing to eat here, my throat is sore and i don't have my baby...and the dogs are being insolent.

Non eventful day exists yet again!!!
i'm still a bit stuffy and coughy but was able to survive the day. all the more i realize that i must go back to school, i believe i can supervise one day and to that one must attain the credentials. so. there.
Dr. Nancy is taking her Boards this weekend, please everyone wish her luck.
since i am now feeling better, i may have to go to long island this weekend to help me mum move furniture. but then again, i may climb out there and it is a three day weekend!!! woo hoo!! and maybe i can resolve this stupid phone problem...this migration from at&t to cingular is the stupidest thing ever...i've had this new phone since thanksgiving and they haven't been able to migrate me yet. telecom people, how difficult was it to migrate. i don't remember, being lord of provisioning and all.

that is a boat
so on saturday, nancy and i celebrated valentine's day early on bateaux new york. she was very surprised and it was awesome. the food was good, we danced and made merry. though, there was a cheesy part where we stopped in front of the statue of liberty and the lounge act sang god bless america and america the beautiful. we looked at each other and just started laughing. the loungy atmosphere was cool, and we had these awesome seats where you can see everything. good time was had by all.
