First Day of School

tomorrow will be my first day of school. i am very scared because there will be a lot of new kids who i will meet. i hope that i don't have to play spin the bottle. i am going to hunter college. i have to take physics because mercy college won't accept my physics credit. i hate school. i also have a job because i am old. i will be older if i get to go to mercy to become a physical therapist. i like physical therapists because they are very smart and my girlfriend is one and she is very smart too. my dog cannot come to school with me because he cannot read. yet.

the sexy one that they call nancy and i went to French Roast because she wanted to celebrate the back to school thing. then she got me a Bloc Party tshirt to wear to my first day of school. i am very happy now. i will take her with me to school because she does not want me to make out with college girls. she is very strict about these things.

does anyone have the college physics textbook by GIAMBATTISTA? i am bidding for it on ebay because i do not want to pay 150 dollars for a piece of doody that i will use for one semester. i am tired because i was in class on saturday and sunday. i am stupid because i went to class on saturday and sunday. but now i have a certificate to perform Mulligan upper extremity thingys to you if you have upper extremity pain or restriction in your joints. i have to practice them because i dont want you to die if i do them to you. we have been inside bellevue hospital for 7days plus in a row. that is more than a normal human being should tolerate. my brain thingy is officially fried and i have to go to work...i don't think that is a good ideal, people may get hurt.

All of my friends are baby machines.

Congrats Ed and Vicki!!
Congrats De and Eric!!

wowy true believers! just when you think it's gonna be a slow blog day...last week, my friends Ed and Vicki had their first child, Sarah Rose Ludwigson...who's the cutest baby in the world, only b/c she's inherited her mom's good looks, though i couldn't tell by the early photos if she's got the Ed red head (me am rhyming). Very exciting you crazy kids!! at least you don't need a nanny b/c casey, their goldie can take care of her!!!

in other spermtastic news!! i'm going to be a fake uncle! my fake sister Deirdre and my fake brother-in-law, Eric are going to have their first wee bonny babe. i believe that no matter what, the baby's middle name will be Thom---a la Thom Yorke. which really wouldn't be fair b/c when i finally have children all the cool rock star names will be taken...though nobody has decided to call their child morrissey yet...so hmmm.

like it's going out of style are all my friends getting pregnant. Ed/Vick, last months happy news of Simone/David, now the bestest news, De/Eric!

Congratulations also to the happy sperms (or sperm, rather) and ovaries who did their part in the baby making experience keep up the good work.

Another reason for me to no longer watch TV

Six Feet Under is officially over. For the past 4 years, I had a reason to believe that life wasn't as f'd up as I thought because it could be worse. Thank you Nate, David, Claire, Ruth, Nate Sr., Keith, Brenda and the rest of the dysfunctional crew for making feel uncomfortable, amused, awkward, disgusted and content all at once watching you every Sunday. I've obsessed over death for as long as i can remember but never was really profoundly affected by it directly...6FU shook me like british nanny, expressing that you can't live life if you're constantly thinking of when it's going to end. Alan Ball and Co. really drove me crazy with this show and it ended just the way it only could...by dying.

OK, my friend did this last week. straight from nygames.net...he played capture the flag in the East Village. Still waiting to here back from him about how it was...but next Thursday...MANHUNT!! i haven't played manhunt since those days up at the Binghamton Nature Preserve.

But what i wonder is...what happens if i get hit by a car/bus/subway? how does that work?

RUN...DON'T WALK...

to your local movie theatre and see the 40 year old virgin RIGHT NOW!! this is probably one of the funniest movies i have ever seen in my entire life. i was laughing so hard, the sexy nan said that she couldn't even hear the movie! i haven't laughed this hard since...forever. man, it's like hanging out w/ the guys especially around some o' the old gang w/ relation to a certain individual who shall remain nameless who was a "project" of ours since high school--it parallels the sort of predicament the titular character is going thru.

everyone put in stellar performances w/ an ending that i'm still laughing about on the way home. GO SEE IT NOW!!!

There are still a few of us who care so i'll mention it now. Morrissey is coming out w/ a new album!! for the uninitiated...Morrissey was the frontman for one of the greatest bands ever to grace this planet...the smiths. This is coming from NME

Someone needs to tell me why i've been so damned tired already!! i've been so lazy and unmotivated lately.

So the latest issue of Premiere has the 20 most overrated movies of all time.

2001: A Space Odyssey (nice to look at, but it's so damn slow, you're in REM stage in the 1st 1/2 hour),
A Beautiful Mind (i agree---what was so great about this movie?? crazy math dude, finds new math equations that only the continent of Asia will find fascinating)
An American in Paris (can't say i saw it)
American Beauty (i disagree, though the plastic bag thing is pretentious)
Chariots of Fire (what a snoozer)
Chicago (why did this win oscars??)
Clerks (i'm sorry the first time i saw this in college, i pee'd m'self--m'be cause i saw it for free)
Easy Rider (never saw it, never found it relevant)
Fantasia (my past self will come to the future to hunt me down--but yeah, i can no longer watch this movie, not even as a sleep aid)
Field of Dreams (Field of Crap)
Forrest Gump (Proof that Tom sold his soul to the devil)
Gone With the Wind (TOTALLY DISAGREE)
Good Will Hunting (i think we can only say this in retrospect, knowing what we know now about those chicks Ben and Matt)
Jules and Jim (huh?)
Monster's Ball (hey, any movie that's got halle naked---can never be overrated)
Moonstruck (you would need to staple my eyes open to sit through this a 1st time!!!)
Mystic River (figured that out from the trailer)
Nashville (Next!!!)
The Red Shoes (if i was in film school--i'd ask for my money back)
The Wizard of Oz (hey! when you're 6, this movie is pretty cool)

man, there are so many others i'd put!! I have to confess...Star Wars except for Empire, should be on there...go ahead, kill me now. Titanic, Shrek (both), Passion of the Christ (TWO WORDS: snuff film), Saving Private Ryan (just the give me the 1st 30 min please), Dances with Wolves (working title: Gouges One's Eyes Out), more recently Crash (a plot as thin as that girl from growing pains), War of the Worlds (show me people that actually liked this movie, b/c i haven't met any...yet, "the critics agree" and it makes a gazillion dollars--how many scientologists are there out there?) OF COURSE---GLADIATOR!! (my hatred for this movie is only exceeded by my hatred for Van Morrisson).

Radiohead lost their record contract w/ EMI??!?!?!!? Thom has written entries on a blog called Dead Air Space...the post was taken off but here's snippet: "we have no record conntract.
as such.
any offers?..what we would like is th e old EMI back again, the nice genteel arms manufacturers who treated music a nice side project who werent to bothered about the shareholders. ah well
not much chance of that....."

damn me for not starting a record company!!

That eisley show was really good...those girls' voices are hypnotic and despite a really crappy sound crew they put on a great performance...had to leave 10 min early b/c it was getting late for the sexy one...but it's enough to leave me wanting for more. oh and i think my co-worker might be in this band...they all look like her...and the band name is an anagram of her name?? hmm....interesting.

Friday is coming...tell your friends.

40 year old virgin...go see it. stars the retarded weatherman from Anchorman!!! GREAT ODIN'S HAMMER!!!
