i thought i had forgotten my wallet at work...so i couldn't give simone the money for block island, so i walked all the way up there and had nothing to give. so (after a barrage of hate texts from simone) nan and i went to jamba and then hit starbucks, so she could study. i was thinking...there's no way i could have forgotten it, the other stuff, like my phone and my aleve were in my bag...ergo...

i ended up walking back to simmy's work.

Blogging you LIVE from Bellevue Hospital

So i found out today that the Bellevue Library has internet access...as i was desperate for U2 tix today. i only got 3 tix!! and super nose (419) bleeders at that. i had the whole system going, 2 computers at the same time, working my way down from 8 tix each down...then seperately combos...and nothing. i'm sorry, simmy that you got neg'd. hopefully, they will have added dates, gotta see if i can get better seats. and yes, at 1:07pm, i still checked ticketbastards for seats. i thought it was a good sign that better burger was playing U2 on saturday, DAMN THE FATES!!! I AM FORTUNE'S FOOL!!!.

FYI, their climbing technique blows.

So i finally finished the 5.9 blue route at my gym. took me forever, studied it like last month's playboy, but finally----break out the tissues... in a leap of faith, i stuck the last hold (wrenching my shoulder, mind you) and reached the top. it was so easy, didn't know why i was having so much travel. next, the 5.11, which is the hardest route on the wall...we're talking climbing up bathroom tiles. I was talking to Vadim, my climbing instructor, who says he's coordinating a climbing tournament in march at chelsea piers. so if start training now, i can enter the beginners tournie. even if i don't win anything...it's a free day to climb at the best wall in nyc

gonna meet up w/ the nanchingching today and have lunch, then go study w/ her prob at the nypublic library or somethin. but first, we're gonna hit better burger, a health place, where i can get my beef fix!! mmmm, lean beef.

Slow day...

So nothing in particular happened today.

Oh yeah, U2, MSG, May 21st...yeah, i know...huge venue, but i've never seen them live and they're on the "to do" list--along w/ eating off a japanese lady...but since nancy would take umbrage to the latter, i'll pick up some tix.

And another thing...

i just remembered that there is an available apt. right behind mine, a 2 BR for $1200, electric/gas included (a little extra for A/C during the summer). i'm not sure what the place looks like. SO DON'T ASK!! so LMK. thx.

In Other News...

Yesterday was my Bloggy McBlogster's birfday. It was one year ago today that I decided to share my ramblings with the world wide web (which I heard is on computers now!). If you notice in the back catalogue, there is a 2 year gap. I had no idea how to use this thing, or what it actually was...the only 2 people who made entries were camille and ed. And now this flipper baby is 1 year old. And for his/her birfday (i never asked), i will try to update it as much as possible, and put lots of pics up that are very purty---like the one seen above.

watched the village today. it was okay, i already knew the ending so it wasn't too shocking. i have 2 weeks notice though now...this is very exciting, now i can watch it whenever i want and not have to wait for hbo.
