All of my friends are baby machines.

Congrats Ed and Vicki!!
Congrats De and Eric!!

wowy true believers! just when you think it's gonna be a slow blog day...last week, my friends Ed and Vicki had their first child, Sarah Rose Ludwigson...who's the cutest baby in the world, only b/c she's inherited her mom's good looks, though i couldn't tell by the early photos if she's got the Ed red head (me am rhyming). Very exciting you crazy kids!! at least you don't need a nanny b/c casey, their goldie can take care of her!!!

in other spermtastic news!! i'm going to be a fake uncle! my fake sister Deirdre and my fake brother-in-law, Eric are going to have their first wee bonny babe. i believe that no matter what, the baby's middle name will be Thom---a la Thom Yorke. which really wouldn't be fair b/c when i finally have children all the cool rock star names will be taken...though nobody has decided to call their child morrissey yet...so hmmm.

like it's going out of style are all my friends getting pregnant. Ed/Vick, last months happy news of Simone/David, now the bestest news, De/Eric!

Congratulations also to the happy sperms (or sperm, rather) and ovaries who did their part in the baby making experience keep up the good work.

Another reason for me to no longer watch TV

Six Feet Under is officially over. For the past 4 years, I had a reason to believe that life wasn't as f'd up as I thought because it could be worse. Thank you Nate, David, Claire, Ruth, Nate Sr., Keith, Brenda and the rest of the dysfunctional crew for making feel uncomfortable, amused, awkward, disgusted and content all at once watching you every Sunday. I've obsessed over death for as long as i can remember but never was really profoundly affected by it directly...6FU shook me like british nanny, expressing that you can't live life if you're constantly thinking of when it's going to end. Alan Ball and Co. really drove me crazy with this show and it ended just the way it only could...by dying.
