and in other news, after waiting patiently twice, i got my July 4th tix (x4) to the free Belle and Sebastian show at the Great Lawn at Battery Park. so considering selling some of them. it's almost too tempting, seeing the amount of people that were on line today. coupled w/ the fact that i am poor.
i would like to thank Jim/Wink for Saturday...they took me out for a nice belated birthday dinner...had some thai in hell's kitchen...then boozed it up at the Crowne Plaza TimesSquare...where i attempted to stealthfully slip the piano man a fiver and failing miserably. apparently, it's frowned upon...the man had no tip jar!!! he played every broadway show and suffered drunks shouting out requests (no, not me) and the man gets no tip?!?!??! it's almost inhumane. ergo, the need to tip this man twice.
