so the dogs are gonna get haircuts today. i'm thinking a cocker spaniel cut for the jubster, and a crewcut for the duncster. they're very excited...lying on the floor...jubei gets so anxious when he goes, he cries the entire time. what a baby. duncan, the retard that he is, just thinks they're playing. can't believe it will cost more for my dog to get a haircut than for me.
nancy is becoming closer to being a bit more urban...she hailed her own cab yesterday morning. too cute, she saved her cab reciept. now if we can only get her to stay in the city longer. remember when i lived on LI? what train do i have to take? sorry, i can't stay out that long b/c i live on LI? yeah, it's a lot like that.
the new routes went up at my gym...they're ok, some are real fun. others not so fun. only have 2 routes left to complete on the wall...but apparently, they'll be 2 more difficult routes to go up...and the ones i'm working on now are already a pretty difficult level. i've decided to concoct my own version of liquid chalk...apparently it's as easy as rubbing alcohol and climbing chalk...my hands get very sweaty and so i have to chalk up a lot...and it's not that easy when you can't find a good rest spot.
anyone know the free wifi spots in the city...apart from the nyc parks? i just refuse to pay starbucks/tmobile for internet access...as low as $6.00???? for an hour???? that's bullshit.

today was one of those days where you think it's the next day but it's not...it's the day before. i blame the fact that i've been a day ahead of all my paperwork, i didn't realize it was wednesday until i got to work. ho hum. i'm excited, the dogs are getting a haircut this weekend...i want to girlify my dog...he's gonna get a cut where it looks like he's got skirts for legs. hee hee...but leave the faux hawk. apparently, he attacked a rottweiler puppy over the weekend. they went w/ pater to pennsylvania, where her friend just got the pup...she got crazy on the jubster and he decided he did not like it and bit her in the face. bitch deserved it!!!!
had an ostrich burger again today...so good. kinda worried about the follow up blood test on monday...i hope my cholesterol lowers...i've been freakishly good diet wise, i hope the genetics isn't screwing me. i ain't taking the drugs. and i would like to consume alcohol again sometime soon...don't get me wrong, i've imbibed a little bit. but i'd like to binge!!

did you think i'd leave it at that? geez, your gullible.
so i was walking home today sometime before 8-ish, when on the corner of 27th and hoyt ave south, a mini-van hits a nissan Z...jumps it like a ramp and flips over landing upside down!!! man, if i were 30 secs sooner...i'd be eating that van right about now, and bloggy McB would be no more. i was trying to call de when it happened, i hung up on her and called 911...people came running from everywhere trying to pull the guy out...so while i'm trying to relay information to 911, i'm yelling at the people..."TURN OFF THE IGNITION!!!" and "DON'T MOVE THAT GUY!!", it was funny cause the operator was like "yeah, turn off the engine" and "yeah, don't move him"---like the crowd could hear him. there was only one guy in the car...and he was trying to crawl out...so they pulled him out and i went up to him to see if he knew his name, where he was, what day it was etc...the dude was really lucky, and he was A&O x 3 (alert and oriented to self, place and time), he was a bit dizzy but here were no visible wounds, so i walked him over to a step where we waited for the ambulance. he was totally fine, a little shaky but fine. i then realized that there was the other guy in the nissan, so i yelled for the other guy...he was standing in the crowd, raising his hands up saying he was fine...if that dude was a 1/2 sec later...that van would have hit the passenger side instead of the hood and he would've been done. so the NYPD, NYFD and the paramedics came, took the van dude put a cervical collar on him and a backboard and slapped him onto a stretcher into the ambulance. i asked the cops if they needed anything, like a statement or something, since i was the one who called it in...they said if they needed anything 911 had my number and would give me a call.
weird huh??
in other news...nancy loves her ipod mini and loves the songs i put on there too. she tentatively passed her boards, so please congratulate her when you see her...i say tentatively b/c although she passed the national exam, apparently she has to pass the standards set forth by the state...which shouldn't be a problem. her name isn't on the NYS office of professions website, so we're not going public at work just yet. but she basically passed and you can call her Dr. Nancy, officially.
in other, other news...hootie is peddling whoppers for burger king. how the mighty have fallen.
and brooke burke is in it too!!! what the???

well, i woke up at the crack o' dawn to head back out to Queens this morn...got the damn computer and now i'm totally beat. gonna have b-fast w/ me mum and sis now...only to prepare to take that damn LIRR...at least i was able to find Garden State and Warriors of Heaven and Earth on previewed DVD!!! everything's coming up Milhouse!!
i almost passed out while driving b/c i was singing and convulsing to the live version of ideoteque...

what a day. this morning started out nice, nan was over and we were just chillin'...she wanted to catch an 11:36 train...we missed it by like a minute. i took a 1:15 train to LI, b/c i picked up my new laser printer and was gonna pick up the car to play some poker and bring the sony computer home. so i'm riding along...putting songs onto nan's new ipod mini (so cute), when we're stopped at hicksville
45 min...later, i realize we haven't moved...some asshole jumped in front of the train somewhere in farmingdale and we've been delayed...i fell asleep. why does this always happen to me???? this is the 4th time some jackass has decided to eat a train and inconveniencing me...hanging oneself inconveniences no one...OD'ing in bed...no one...slitting wrists...no one. why the train?? at least i wasn't drunk and needing to vomit...i had cassie dee to keep me company plus some awesome episodes of family guy.
i got to ronkonkoma a little after 4-ish...my dad/sister picked me up and we went to the mall...decided to finally migrate over to cingular from at&t...picked out a cool looking sony ericsson phone, they try to activate it...but it's broken, they have to order a new one...fine, they give me a loaner. the loaner doesn't work. i go back to cingular store...they're closed. luckily, i just caught the guy who sold me the phone and told him what happened...he gave me his new phone as a loaner.
found out that the texas hold'em tourney was at 2:30pm...while i was stuck on the train. i thought it was later. i screwed up royally, i really wanted to play. i could have played in a charity event...but i was late for that too. so i drove back to queens to drop the printer off. i ended up going to the gym, climbed a little, did some grocery shopping. got back to my dad's like 15 min ago...my dad asks me if the computer is in the car...computer? awwwww, crap, i forgot the sony. now i'm gonna go back tomorrow morning to get the damn computer and then take the train back to queens in time to help my friend alan take down the rock wall so vadim can put up new routes on monday.
damn it, i got to go to bed now. this sux.
