Alright, this may be late breaking news, but i've been tired and busy and such ok?? i suggest you go ahead and print out free, yes, free tickets to Eisley playing this Tuesday at Bowery Ballroom. yes, they were once called Mos Eisley...but i believe King George was going to sue--and so then cut it down to Eisley. and yes, i will wait on line once i get out o' work...but as per a co-worker...they're amazing live and sound better than on their album ergo worth the wait. they're a bunch of kids too...so you know it won't end too late...they have to rush to watch the OC.

i know that i was supposed to update you on the Across the Narrows but i've decided not to go and so then you shouldn't go either. besides, i'm hoping that b&s decide to play a smaller venue, and save me from suffering the festival circuit, mixing w/ the masses.

OK...80's new wave fans, more exciting news!!! Depeche Mode. Comeback Album. As per NME

DEPECHE MODE have revealed full details of their eagerly awaited comeback album will be called ’PLAYING THE ANGEL’.

The follow-up to 2001’s ’Exciter’ will be released on October 17. It’s preceded by a single, ’Precious’, on October 3.

The album tracklisting is:

’A Pain That I’m Used To’
’John The Revelator’
’Suffer Well’
’The Sinner In Me’
’Precious’
’Macrovision’
’I Want It All’
’Nothing’s Impossible’
’Introspectre’
’Damaged People’
’Lillian’
’The Darkest Star’

i liked exciter...enough to go see them live. they always give a great show!! they're hitting Europe first in 2006...can't wait 'til they hit the US!! It's time for a Black Celebration!!

sorry, i just couldn't resist.

so after reading Angels and Demons...which was an awesome read!! the stuff Hollywood Summer Blockbusters are made of! plus..it's the Illuminati. who would of thunk that i would now read the Da Vinci Code...it's pretty good so far. though i really can't see Tom Hanks as the Langdon character...Harrison Ford, maybe? i guess he passed on it...oh, yeah...there's that little picture called Indy 4. i heard A&D is better than the Code...we shall see, we shall see.

i completely wasted my day off indoors...i had the all planned out, lap swimming at astoria pool, laundry, rock climbing at the soon to be ex-gym. well, one out of three aint bad. and sleeping wasn't too bad, it was down right fun at some point. speaking of the ex-gym...went to the NYU Palladium, the rockwall was very, very cool. not as difficult as it looks. the instructor there is insane...just check 'em out in the Voice. of course, the wall is closed until further notice...due to "construction"...and i say "construction" b/c of the following article i found from the NYU Paper Washington Square News from a couple o' years ago.

now my feelings are there is an assumption of risk when doing this, this isn't great adventure...and even a roller coaster isn't 100% safe, that's why we go on them. i've jacked m'self up on the wall a billion times...my fave being the popping sound of my fingers that put me out for 3 months. do i sue? all i can say is...dude is a friggin' wuss, and doesn't deserve to be on the wall...it only takes one litigious bastard to ruin it for all of us. at least there's still Coles...but it's not open 'til school starts...which isn't too far away. i should find this whiny baby and pee on him.

had dinner at Partage it was pretty good...had the 5-course tasting menu...foie gras, beef cheeks, goat cheese salad, grilled salad, and apple tarte a la mode. Nancy had the lamb, which was also very good. drank rose' w/ it...haven't had it in a long time and it was pretty good. complemented the cheeses we had but not really w/ my meal. i'm totally full and want to throw up but it was good so i'll keep it in.

think we're going to the Copa tomorrow, hope i just remember how to dance those damn steps, haven't done it since the Block, and we were just practicing then.

hope you guys are watching the World Poker Tour right now...they're at foxwoods and it's the most exciting one i've seen in a long time. i lost last week, but played the way i wanted to play...few mistakes aside, and i just got beaten well...speaking of which, sexy nan and i bumped into stephen on the train tonite...he beat me good one hand that lead to a loss...and it was his fault i got screwed at work (just kidding).

Hey Look Ma!!! No Bloggy!!

so i found out that i can blog from the pleasure of my own email. if
i'm bored at work...which unfortunately, i'm not---but i can try my
darndest. i don't have web access to many .com's so, this makes
things a lot easier!

Did you see the local news!! some stupid bastard sexually assaulted a
young girl in my dear own Astoria Park a couple o' days ago! who the
hell would taint the sanctity of such a beloved park!?!?!? well, they
caught the ass...who left his car near the scene...what an idiot. why
can't we just horribly castrate these f**kers by starving rats and
then dipping the offenders nutsack into their cages.

i should run for public office and use that as my platform.

if you want to see the sickos nearest you check out your local new york sex offender's registry and coordinate a local lynch mob in a neighborhood
near you!!
