KINGDA KA'NT

so what a letdown GA was this morn...due to the inclement weather and apparent mechanical difficulties plaguing the damn ride...the kingda ka didn't open until late afternoon and when it did, there was a 5-6 hour wait...the powers that be at GA put up a nice little sign saying that not even the almighty QBot (regular AND gold) could guarantee a spot on the sacred ride. and can i just say, that it looks pretty damn scary...i mean i did the virtual tour on the web, got all excited...then you look at the damn thing, it's really big...tall and long...i mean it has that frikkin' light beacon on top of it so planes don't hit it. i looked at the triboro bridge by my house...it must be just as high. so i made a bad choice and didn't front the 12 bux to come back b/c i was quite bummed...but i realized that i could have called in sick again or something on my birfday and just took a ride out just to ride that damn thing. wonder what the nan (the super sexy babe that she is) got me for my bday? let's pray for ipod...not that it matters and i'm just a materialistic bitch. but i'm getting off the point...

the kingda ka remains elusive.

but Nitro...always worth it! the best ride there.

next to the teacups.

headaches and nausea continue...so what better way to suppress such symptoms than to go for a nice run. the corporate challenge is 3 weeks away...i need to get on that. so my left foot, not taking to the running well...after a mile and change...shin burns like the vader's carcass. good news, decreased symptoms, maybe b/c of the pain that's in my foot...DAMN IT!! it's very discouraging. i'm gonna tape my feet and try to preserve some sort of arch and see what happens.
tomorrow, gonna go to the meeting for volunteers at the summerstage in central park...gonna volunteer for the good shows too, can't wait...love watching shows for free and all i have to do is ask people for money and rip tickets. but you know that i'm probably gonna flake out...if i had the choice b/wn ripping tix or hanging out w/ the nan...one i work free...the other i someone may buy me something. love that nan...though she's supposed to be my sugarmamma...but i'm still sugar daddy...she makes more than me!!! what gives?? oh yeah...she puts up w/ my shit, therefore i guess that's an even trade.

so i got to get a new battery for cassie dee...apparently, she burns too hot and it's hurting her!!!

the daily show is too funny. watch it, please. now!! i'm supposed to get tix for this show...where are they?!??!!

so w/ a piercing headache that i've carried w/ me for the past few days...i trudged, in the babe magnet known to humanity only as...the pulsar, all the way to garden city where i met up w/ the babe to see SW3:ROTS...and rot it kinda did. nan was kind enough to do a mini marathon of empire and jedi the previous evening. i gave her the extreme cliffs notes version of the craptacular TPM and AOTC, aka SW1&2 and up came the movie. overall, i was pretty underwhelmed...not that i should have been surprised...a lot of eye candy, yes, but no change in the wooden acting and dialogue. i mean, c'mon, sam jackson never acted less convincingly throughout the prequels...it's like first year at drama camp...sometimes, less is not more. and hayden...oh jeez, i think that speaks for itself. and i mean, when you can't get natalie portman to emote...there is a problem, was she dying during pregnancy or was she passing out from a hit of smack? but the lightsaber duels delivered, the battles were pretty, as were the wookies...who picks up after the wookies you think? that's a lot of plastic bags. once again yoda, the most fake character plays it the most real...and ian mcdiarmand played the emperor deliciously over the top. overall, i'm relieved that i finally saw it, relieved that it's finally over but i said it once and i'll say it again...the lord of the rings trilogy beats the star wars prequels 1 billion times over...i dare not speak ill of the original holy trilogy for fear of surrendering my geek card...though deep down methinks LOTR is better than all of them...ok, w/ the exception of empire. nan enjoyed it a lot and is now motivated to finish off the prequels...i guess that's the best thing...though she can't get over the fact that yoda sounds like grover and was waiting to be taught about numbers or the concept NEAR...and.............FAR.
