100 things we didn't know this time last year

You can learn alot of stuff in 365 days. Thankfully, the BBC has compiled a list of 100 new things that have been learnt over the past year.

and if you're British or an Anglophile, you'll actually "get" all 100.

Photo from Hawaiian TV news of the "iPod replaced by Meat" Fiasco

Finally, a photo of what many are talking about. This story was picked up by many news sources but had not picture. Well, here is a great photo of what appears to be a Slab of Spam wrapped in plastic placed in the iPod Nano box....

and they're complaining why? sounds like a plus to me.

spam holds 1000 songs at least.

i'm praying to find a slab of spam in my grande soy chai tea latte tomorrow.

BEHOLD!!! The True Meaning of Christmas!!

Merry Chrismas everyone! and if you don't know the christmas significance of that picture...you need to sit yourself in front of the idiot box right now and channel in TBS and sit there for the next 12 hours...b/c it is the greatest Christmas story of all time.

So when to faux midnite mass xmas eve...8 pm to be exact, in the church of my youth. profoundly enough, jesus and his dad staved off their wrath and did not strike me down when i walked in. highlights from mass...catholic family feud, a reader who was obviously going through puberty and tried to read the responsorial psalm like it was a trailer for the next summer blockbuster action movie..."THIS SUMMER!!! AND LO THE ANGEL LOOKED DOWN UPON THE SHEPARDS SLEEPING IN THE FIELD...AND...THEY...WERE...SO...

AFRAID!!!

a film by Mel Gibson

tagline: be afraid, be very afraid---OH WAIT...that was Alien, wasn't it.

and i survived my first Christmas at the Sexy One's parents house, food was delish!! everyone was very nice to me and did not bludgeon me w/ large blunt rocks as i had originally envisioned...or maybe they're saving it for Christmas Day...i did notice a Spookybear-sized hole in the yard. it helped to bring presents for the folks and for the little kids. i am endorsing Target as the official Christmas store of Bloggy McBlogster

i have yet to open up my gifts, but me dad just gave me one of them...a belt and keychain---ok...so 2 gifts. the next blog up that me dear old powerbook puts up will be running OS 10.4.3--Tiger!!!

God Bless Us Everyone!!!

enjoy the holidays everyone...b/c we're all gonna be really cranky after new years.

OH wait...i need to also plug Serenity. This movie is awesome, the best of everything you want in entertainment. so forgot that one sci-fi geek on your list? get that...or the Firefly box set...that's awesome too

GOONIES REUNITED!!! (Picture)

The real question is...

where's Sloth??

"HEY...YOU...GUYS!!!!

and why are "Mouth" and "Chunk" mis-named? who are "Bagou" and "Choco"?---is that Spanish?

Bloggy McB SPECIAL NEWS UPDATE:

ok...so "Bagou" means glibness in French...which would match Corey's character. "Choco"...dunno...in the Aztec language it means "bitter" and we get chocolate from that...but maybe it's French slang for "Truffle Shuffle."

those damn french!!

Now, Who Looks Like They're Having the Better Time??

yes, this weekend was a nice little x-mas party in Bay Ridge, muchos fun was had by all...but it really kicked up a billion notches when Rosie broke out the Magic Mic. That's the gang doing a perfectly scored rendition of "Summer Nights" from Grease.

Also got to catch that little movie called King Kong. Amazing how 3 hours can just fly by when you're having fun. And i will neither confirm nor deny my emotional state at the end of that movie.

Just got back from my Physics final...what a sonofabitch of a final that was...but from the looks of the classmates, the curve will do me right in the end! woo hoo!! i'm totally hitting ecampus right after this posting to get rid of those damn books!!! So everyone keep your fingers crossed and pray to the PT school demons that Mercy takes me!

So, I feel the love from all the gang who sent me Christmas cards...and the guilt that's coursing through me right now b/c i haven't sent out any...though, i still have the ones from last year if you guys want. i'm gonna play the Physics midterm and final card for being remiss...a bloggy xmas card couldn't possibly do justice...but it's what i can do with the holiday less than 6 days away. I'll work on that as soon as my head stops hurting from thinking too much.

spooky strike coming towards us...anyone need a ride in tomorrow? we need a fourth for the carpool--or it's 12 lashes on the rack for us!!

Science vs. the Bible

A very interesting video in which Penn & Teller approach this sacred text in a logical, and enlightening way. A fair view on why it shouldn't be interpreted literally, as some people do.

The Lion, The Woman who Broke Her Hand, and the Wardrobe...oh and the STrIKe

So we went to see Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. I liked it,didn't love it. It was pretty to watch...the special effects were amazing. YOU WILL BELIEVE A LION CAN SPEAK!!! the kids were annoying...maybe b/c they're british. it was slow in parts and the battle was pretty cool, especially when it was called Helm's Deep, from LOTR: the Two Towers. file it behind harry potter and way behind LOTR.

Went to the Colbert Report, pronounced: Colbear Repor. last nite w/ the sexy one and some friends...thank god he was funny last nite, b/c it makes up for the 2 hours we spent waiting outside, freezing our asses off. Dermot Mulroney was the guest plugging that P.O.S. called The Family Stone and did you know he plays the cello? do you even care? i wouldn't of but Mr. colbert was quite the jokeman. i'll try to get daily show tickets and i'll go to the report again...but i'll wait 'til spring.

This morning, i rose up from the number 6 at park ave to find a woman writhing in pain on the ground clutching her hand. about 5 people walked past her as she cried...nice. so i helped her up, she slipped and fell on her left hand coming up the same stairs. she was screaming, "my hand, my hand...i can't move it!!", i told her to sit and called 911. the sexy one rolls up thinking i was picking up some homeless person but realized what happened and kindly went across the street to a deli to get a little ice for the woman's hand. the deli had the audacity to charge the sexy one, 50 cents for a bag of ice...she, of course, didn't pay it.

the ambulance finally rolled up on park ave...and couldn't find us tucked behind a coffee truck...SN flagged them down. the EMT's said they almost left b/c they didn't see us. they took the woman into the ambulance, we never said goodbye to the old lady. the punchline is that the EMT thanked nancy and joked w/ the driver about how they were gonna leave us flat, if not for the amazing rescuer, nancy--to save the day.

nice. this is what happens when you're w/ the SN.

Oh yeah...and it'll suck if they strike tomorrow. i live far and it's cold outside. the snow and rain doesn't help either.

All I Want For Christmas Is You...and maybe a PSP!

so i'm done w/ all me xmas shopping. took a nice little trip out to target (pronounced: TAR-JHEY, for you heathens). what a wonderful little place...as a comrade of spooky says "i would like to work here"...although i cannot share that sentiment, i know what she means.

i met up w/ the ragtag gang of telecom compatriots that have called my friends for sometime now at simone007's abode (and new one at that!!) on saturday. that was fun...thanks to J and D for the nice little hat, and the sexy one will like whatever you got her too!! thanks for letting me play w/ the baby!!! poor child. for pics click on simone007's link, she has details too, methinks.

friday took the sexy one to the place where it all started...that's right, i took her to bellevue where she was checking me out when she interviewed there...and then i took her to the restaurant of our first date, Lavagna...had some awesome grilled calamari and i had the shellsteak which was really good, sexy had the lamb, which she liked a little bit...but i liked a lot. you're wondering if it ended w/ sexy results aren't you? i'm not gonna say!!!!

nope.

but only b/c i'm a gentlemen is all!!

ok, so what's up this week...

1. last week of physics class...we'll see how bad i did on that last test. but i did buy physics for dummies...so i should be all set now. final 12/19...woo hoo!!

2. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe...duh.

3. The Colbert Report (pronounced: repor, which will take place in lieu of my last physics class.

4. King Kong...double duh.

5. Annual Bellevue Rehab "Gift That I'm Ultimately Going to Hate and Complain About For the Next Year" Holiday Party and Potlock...apparently, i'm contractually bound to make stromboli or some junk. blah.

6. Holiday Party in Brooklyn at Co-Workers...NOG, NOG, NOG, NOG!!!!

ok, back to the firefly dvd...i'm on disc 3...what a great frikkin show!! why does network tv cancel crap and leave all the good stuff on!!!

beauty and the geek is coming back for chrissakes!!!...

we are a civilization in decline, watch us fall.

Rent: The Motion Picture, or The Ass-Kicking I Gave M'self After Having Sat Through That Crap

Now, i was never too keen on seeing this on B'way, but the kid in me wanted to seeing something that harkened back to the old days...the sound of musics...the west side stories...ya know, the classics. Chicago: The Movie...not even worth watching on HBO, The Phantom of the Opera: The Movie--No Michael Crawford?? Blasphemy. the last musical number i enjoyed was the ending to the 40 Year Old Virgin.

i should have stuck to my guts...Rent = La Boheme. La Boheme = Opera. Opera = Suckfest full of singing cows. next time you're at starbucks hanging out w/ your friends...sing your coffee order and then sing about how it's too hot and you burnt your tongue...then go operatic on 'em and aria about having to take a nasty dump b/c of too much said coffee. Well, that's this movie. you go to b'way, you can suspend disbelief somewhat b/c all the action is confined to the stage...take that and spread it out all over alphabet city, NYC (although chris "i can't believe i gave macauley culkin a career" columbus shot most of this in san francisco, or so i've read).

what you get is silliness...i started singing as i left the theater about how we need to go to borders and buy physics for dummies and sang about how i saw a really crappy movie and apologized to the sexy one for taking her...takes ya to a completely different place doesn't it? i dare you to try it...and then after all your friends have left you, or have committed suicide...then you will have lived Rent: The Movie. Although, the subject matter is paramount, i just couldn't get into it at all...i'm thinking, ok, they're singing about lighting a candle...ooops, it went out, i ran out of matches, and i'm singing now about how i totally want to have sex w/ you but you have my smack and that's more important right now than you.

Overall, I liked it.

Depeche Mode 2.0

Please refer to my entry in october for a setlist...but add the following:

Somebody
Just Can't Get Enough
Everything Counts
Question of Lust
Never Let Me Down Again

does the MSG show beat the up close and personal show at the Bowery...i was in section 311...what do you think???

i did enjoy it though...the above songs from the encore was worth it. plus they always put on a good show. Talk about your trip through memory lane...De can verify how long ago was Music for the Masses w/ the Concert for the Masses being the first concert i'd ever been to..at Jones Beach. i believe i was 15...yikes.

Just waiting for Belle and Sebastian to make their way back over the pond...Nan, you can't escape this concert...you have to come.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...

How pissed does Jubei look?

Yeah!! first snow!! but what a disappointing turn out as there is only like an inch on the ground. the snowstorm that was, was not...and although they have snow forecast tomorrow...they mention something about rain...blah.

so lack of posts = Physics 120 2nd midterm / man, it will take an act of god for me to do well in that class. Turkey day was fantastic, spent it at ma and pa waldron's...where the lamb was to kill and maim for. my folks decided to head out to baldwin, which is too far for me, so i dodged heartburn bullet.

check out PKNYC, for pics from a lovely holiday party. i was not drunk at all, b/c the jack&cokes had a large splash H2O!! but i looked pretty spectacular, i must say...only b/c the sexy nan was looking quite spectacular herself, making me spectacular by association.

yesterday, headed out to New "One Afternoon is Enough!" (new state slogan) Jersey, for jimmyboy's bday. of course, we had our ritual poker game. i'll talk about poker in greater detail for one of our readers later, when i actually feel like it (i lost)

so, must commence the shopping!! maybe as soon as i finish class.

got depeche mode this week, semi-excited. i'll let you know how it works out.

OH and for you LOST fans...here's a theory that's so good it has to be true!

and that picture below about the bands...there's 72 not 20 bands in that pic...sorry for the confusion.

Splendid! Splendid news, well done!!

Blogging to you live from Boston from the gait biomechanics seminar!! This just in from NME, the Cure for what ails me...

The Cure head into the studio

Robert Smith the band will begin new album in 2006

The Cure are to begin work on a new album early next year.

The group with enter the studio in January to start work on the follow-up to last year's 'The Cure', according to a post from singer Robert Smith.

"We are still on course for a summer release, as it's all in the preparation," Smith wrote on the band's website Cure.com

This album will be the first since keyboardist Roger O'Donnell and guitarist Perry Bamonte left The Cure earlier this year and will feature former guitarist Porl Thompson, who recently rejoined the band, Billboard reports.

Smith added that he has been working on a live DVD and "writing some film music".

In the meantime The Cure are expected to release expanded reissues of albums 'The Top', 'The Head on the Door' and 'Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me', plus Glove's 'The Blue Sunshine' - a 1983 band featuring of Smith, Siouxsie and Banshees bassist Steve Severin - next year.

Porl is back! if they could get Boris and maybe in Lol (ok, that may be stretching it)...i'll be very sad (which is happy in Cure-speak)

In happier news, Belle and Sebastian will release their new album, The Life Pursuit, w/ tracklisting, release date and everything...now just release the US tour to me already!!

to show how deprived we are, they are also releasing a download via iTunes for charity of one of the their Scottish shows where they played the entire "If You're Feeling Sinister" album...and for the uninitiated and are curious...it's their best album in the opinion of this bloggy.

so that's some exciting news from the music front...

now anyone see that Goblet of Fire yet? any good???

i feel funky...

there's nothing like having bodily fluids coming out of every orafice of the body. so yesterday was a landmark in me and the sexy one's relationship. we are sharing our first stomach virus!!! her whole family has it and she had to go home yesterday b/c of it and i thought i could tough it out...having much experience in the vomiting department from the imbibing of spirits...but alas, the big D and V took hold and i just had to go.

all of this comes just in time as i'm leaving for boston today for a seminar...there is a lab portion where i'll have to wear shorts...this could get very interesting. but seriously, i feel a lot better, no incidence of numero tres or praying to the porcelin(sp) god...but my stomach feels funny as does my anus.

happy birthday to Purple Monkey, the blog just turned two! i think we here at the bloggy is rolling up on 4 years, methinks, w/ regular posts at 3 years??? woo hoo!!

last weekend was the beginning of poker season...i hosted the first of the 2006 season w/ 8 other folks, 2 hustlers, a sexy one, the tall one and the drunk one, the quiet one and the 2 friends to which i have no names for--the ones that live down the block from me...there. came in 3 both times, which would be good except that we only set 1st and 2nd place payouts. the trifecta was complete when i came in third the next nite at hot monkey's really sweet place near work but then lost on a semi bluff the 2nd game. the winners were 2 folks, who "never played before"---beginner's luck? i smell conspiracy afoot!!!

anyway, next poker nite is the big time game at big J's for his birthday. and then don't know if we'll have another one until after the new year, as i am quite the busy beaver! but we'll see.

I forgot KOnG!!!

I just remembered that i saw this the other day and i started to have flashbacks of when i saw the original when i was a kid...i cried like a baby when kong fell from the ESB.

just watching those scenes on top of the ESB, like simmy at a LOTR movie, i started to get emotional.

Watch it AHORA!
In Slow News...

Look! Thomas Haden Church is gonna be the Sandman in Spiderman 3. I thought Venom, but what the hey...Topher Grace? He's gonna take over for Kirsten Dunst and be the next Mary Jane!! I knew IT!!

So sorry simmy for missing out on some sweet Spaten action at the beer garden. the sexy one made a surprise cameo appearance at Casa de Spookybear where we had a nice little dinner and then watch that tear-jerking, heart-string pulling piece of cinema known as SAW--in preparation for that cuddly cute flick known as, yup, you guessed it! SAW Dos: electric bugaloo.

so i have strange holidays off coming up!! woo hoo!! election day and vets day! love it.

and i had a nightmare last nite, i thought my first doggy, murphy, passed away and i was quite upset. i called this morning, and everything is ok. i'm gonna go out there monday/tuesday to go see her and walk her a lot now!! i'm gonna invoke the demons to give her everlasting life...or i'm gonna have her stuffed.

Shopgirl

OK, sexy nan and i just went to see Shopgirl and i dunno. I didn't love it but i didn't hate it...it sort of just, annoyed the crap out of me. superfluous shots, uneven storytelling, atmosphery wannabe "lost in translation" type thingy sans the charm and wit. nan likey the film. i give it 2 1/2 high-heeled pumps out of 5.

i really wanted to see saw II: electric bugaloo. but nan wasn't gonna have it.

i was irked that people were there to see Harry Potter and the Asses, err...Goblet...of Fire.

got a old phone and now i'm up and working again. weighed in the whole sidekick thing..and i can't rationalize paying the extra dough for the web access, when the technology is so damn slow. i could check email w/ me powerbook at any free wi-fi place in the city. i just need a nice new bluetooth phone so i'm sticking w/ cingular.

i am so itching to play some poker, i think i may head to LI this weekend to play heads up w/ a friend. makes me crazy folks!!! i'll probably lose.

can't believe i have off 2 days next week...get this, i get election day and veterans day off...can you believe this sh*t??? it rocks.

Jack the Ripper to be ID'd soon

I think that's a typo...Boise, Idaho teen Jack Theripper was ID'd at the Safeway trying to buy cigarettes from the local grocery chain. He got cold feet when he saw the rip-off calendar that you need to born before November 3, 1987 to purchase tobacco.

Jack and his friends were later seen at the Circle K, 3 blocks from his Aunt Mable's house, devising a plot to score a pack of Camels

First, thanks to me sis for the ticket, more specifically, thanks to sis' friend who couldn't go and allowed me to go in her stead! well, it was me, sis, the Nig and the Chick, at the exclusive warm-up gig for Depeche Mode's Touring the Angel at the Bowery Ballroom. I got there a little after 7pm and met up w/ the gang...who were front row center!! so basically, we were right in the action, dave sweated on us and was less than 5 feet in front of us!! it was an unorthodox DM setup...full drum kit and guitar rack! as well as the synths and the fake keyboards to appease Fletch, who gave us the appearance of playing them.

the show was ridiculously amazing...i realized that dave went to the mick jagger school of dance and that he's real skinny. martin came out w/ his guitar donning a cool skicap w/ a mohawk. oh yeah, Fletch showed up too--and was such a good boy, he deserves an A for effort. I kid Fletch despite the fact that i did get the Hi-5 from him (denied by dave...but sis and chick got the hookup). sis got dave's water and chick got dave's sweaty towel!! the hour and 1/2 show was one big singalong...you could hear everyone singing almost drowning dave out...but we were upfront, so it was ok.

and this blonde gal was trying to tell me that carlos D(bassist for Interpol) was coming to the show b/c he's a big DM fan and that she had spoken to Paul (lead vocals, guitar for Interpol) who told her that he hated DM and wasn't going to the show. as i nodded my head and feigned interest, my brain was blaring "BULLSHIT!!" at her, that she must have heard. But low and behold, i did see Carlos D as i was walking out after the show, so she was right.

this goes down in the annals of concert history somewhere in the realm of Morrissey sweating on us at the Jones Beach, the Jones Beach Cure show that simone007 will still cry about, and the Liberty State Park Radiohead show...it was that good. they gave an awesome show and now i don't feel so bad that i have such crappy seats for the MSG show in december.

Chick took a whole bunch of pics and i hope to get a copy of them and i'll share when i do.

De...man, you should have been there...but i was thinking about you!!! de, i don't know if you were with me in 11th or 12th grade, when me and 2 others (can't remember) were on a field trip to see Les Miz and we performed an a capella version of "behind the wheel", ahhh, good times, good times--that's what i was thinking about when BehindTheWheel came on. we'll discuss more when i talk to you.

did i mention that the show was friggin' awesome???
Trick or Treat!!!

All i have to say is that tights are really darn uncomfortable and yes, i was wearing underwear. so good ole rosie threw a nice little shindig to celebrate that pagan holiday where we get dressed up like little schoolgirls and smell our armpits...or was that just me. our hostess donned the french maid costume, though we know she was saving it for another occasion...cheeky monkey!! others in attendance was maryann from gilligan's island, DJ PKNYC, (Vote for) Pedro, Aishwarya Rai, Wonder Woman took some time off to party down w/ us, an extra from the Weezer, "Buddy Holly" video, oh yeah--and Mary Katherine "Supastar!!" Gallagher.

the Magic Mic was in full use, you would have heard favorites such as "girls just wanna have fun", "papa don't preach", "wake me up (before you go go)", "santa claus is coming to town" and much, much more! i regret that i had to leave the festivities early (more on that in the next entry) but thanks rosie for muchos fun-os and i want to see those pics so we can share them w/ the rest of the BMcB readers!!!

and to those in attendance...i didn't mean to turn you on. i was a sexy bitch.

Must...show...trailers...

whilst lying in bed, i give to you new trailers!!

now i enjoyed this movie more on HBO than in the theatres...but this trailer makes the sequel look pretty good.

Behold Underworld Evolution

and for those who are fans of Tolkien's best friend C.S. Lewis...a highly anticipated Lord of the Rings killer...I present to you The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe...Aslan looks awesome!!
UGG...i'm sick again. and i had to work the weekend yesterday...when i left, i thought like i was gonna die. i ended missing k and c's daughter's b-day party...more importantly, winning all my friend's money in poker.

i lost my cell...so don't try and call me. thinking of switching over to t-mobile after seeing a coworker's wife Sidekick...too cool.

i'm gonna go lie down now. thanks.

EXCLUSIVE!! The Mysterious and Elusive Yeti Found Napping in Neighborhood Man's Apartment!!

"I was kinda shocked, to tell you the truth." said the Astoria, Queens native who wished to remain anonymous for this story. "I came home from work, just wanting to sit and relax, maybe watch some syndicated "Will and Grace", when i smelled something real foul...like a cow shitting or something..."

He then discovered that on his couch lay the legendary Abominable Snowman or Yeti as known by the Himilayan denizens from the nation of Nepal. There have been many reported sightings and eyewitness accounts, but this is the first time one had ever been sighted outside of Nepal, or in Queens, NY for that matter.

"I tried poking it with a stick to wake him up, it worked and he just looked at me and left the room, I was amazed he didn't tear me to shreds!" reported the young man. What happened next will baffle cryptozoologists, the Yeti then gestured that he wanted to go outside. The man opened the door and let the creature outside. The Yeti then proceeded to the nearest sign post where he lifted his leg and urinated.

"I guess i'll keep him around for a bit" said the Queens man. "Apart from the stank, and the occasional licking of his genitalia, he's not too bad.

In related news, another legendary character, the Chupacabra was seen applying for a waitressing job at the Caliente Cab Co. in Manhattan. The creature was reported to have mixed a Mango and Raspberry Margherita before sucking the manager's body dry of blood.

Oh yeah...did i mention????

I will be out of the office October 28th to attend an EXCLUSIVE Depeche Mode show at the Bowery Ballroom.

i'll you posted at how possibly boring and uneventful this show will be.

but b/c i love you, you can try to get tickets by entering HERE!

Good luck Kids!

The Cure for Cancer

Just saw this ad via my fave Cure fansite Chain of Flowers, the crowd lit their lighters subliminally sending out a message...for Camel cigarettes. The band onstage...THE CURE!

This is not the first time Camel has attempted to use subliminal messages in it's advertising...recall a few years ago when their Joe Camel campaign depicted male genitalia to look like a camel in a tuxedo surrounded by gorgeous women looking really, really cool smoking Camel cigarettes.

it was quite successful, as over 3 million people died of lung cancer that year.

Wilma Hits Mexico!

and in a related story, Wilma's husband gets locked out of the house trying to put the cat out.

More news as the story develops.

Midterm Accomplished...

And when i say accomplished, i mean, sat down and wrote stuff on the test...semi completing it. thank god for partial credit and thank every god for the curve. So as a result of all the damn stress, i think i'm getting sick again. at least now i can catch up to the tv shows i taped on my vcr...that's an ancient device that predates the tivo.

in good news, my sister hooked me up w/ a ticket to the exclusive start of the Depeche Mode tour, "Starting the Angel". it's only for one, but i'm willing to bite the bullet and go solo w/ fellow cool DM fans!! i'll be shaking the disease baby!!! and i'll be hitting the show in december too!!

will this appease you critics for the kelly clarkson attending?

woo hoo!!

i just downloaded the new album, i'll let you know how it is...but i left my ipod at work, so i got to bring my baby to work tomorrow to update the songs.

T-Mobile's Employee of the Month: Kelly Clarkson!!

Man, pictures off of a cellphone SUCK!! so i channelled my inner 12 year old fangirl and took in a kelly clarkson concert w/ my babysitter nancy (who as a 'tweeny girl, i'm strangely attracted to). i was a bit heated at first b/c they changed the venue from the hammerstein to the theatre at MSG across the seat and gave us seats instead of general admission...but i guess sitting is ok at my old age. many a teenage girl and men who are "judy garland/cher fans" were present. and i hate to say it, but can that girl put on a show...unlike her popstar idolesque counterparts: britney, jessica, ashley--who require costume changes, elaborate sets and dance numbers to make up for a lack of talent...that white girl can sing!! if she wasn't a corporate puppet for cellphones and chained to her contract w/ american idol, she could almost be a legitimate artist. i admit that i enjoyed m'self...but not enough to attract one of the boyfriends rubbing up against me.
