i think the Arctic Monkeys are pretty crappy too...latest overrated band from across the pond since the Kaiser Chiefs-though i admit that "I Predict A Riot" is a pretty darn rootin' tootin' diddy.

in other Radiohead (is the greatest band in the world) news...

coming from Maxim UK, Noel Gallagher of Oasis has declared that "Radiohead are now more important than Oasis." and concedes that "the albums released by Radiohead have surpassed anything his group have released."

which, sure, isn't saying much from our perspective but it's Noel saying it for chrissakes...who's more full o' himself than anyone...though he also says that Coldplay may be important too...ergo, Noel must have been high when he was quoted as saying this. shite!

Astoria Streets: The New Boulevards of Death

So last nite, during American Idol, this kid, or small man got mowed down by a car right in front of my house! i was doing some stuff in the kitchen when i heard all this yelling and honking, i look out the window and some dude is lying in the middle of the road and this little kid next to him.

by the time i ran downstairs, the cops were already there! talk about your first responder, which is weird b/c i recall one poker nite and there was an car accident in front of the house and cops didn't come for like a 1/2 hour. i know why the quick police presence but i'm not at liberty to say. anyway, it appeared that the kid was conscious without apparent spinal injury b/c he was lifting his hands over his head to hold something. the little kid w/ the dude was crying and was holding a policeman's hand and got into the ambulance.

in the same week, a car crashed into this iron wrought fence, the same intersection where i witnessed a minivan do spirals in the air near my head over a year ago. and as i got home to walk w/ the jubster, there was a fender bender outside the house. ok, so don't walk across the streets here or drive in Astoria b/c you will die.

and that's one to grow on. let's wish the little dude well and quick recovery.

in other news, I got my Official APTA Certificate for the Clinical Instructor Credentialing Program...I can now fail students and it would mean even more to because i have a certificate on my wall that says its official. i wonder if i can put extra letters at the end of my title?

I feel drunk with power.

and i got my Snow Patrol tix, i'm still waiting for one friend to come back from vacation to see if her bf will come...if not i'm gonna need a way to be rid of 2 extra tix and come out with a smile on my face...i wonder how i could do that? hmmm...a quandry indeed.

OK, real quick...so there's this documentary on right now on A&E about Satanism...it goes to commercial and it's "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"...spray---and "Easy-Off" Oven Cleaner. So I assume that Satanists are the target audience during this time slot...interesting.

the marketing guru that i am surmises the following:

1. real butter is made by God...and they hate God.

2. to sacrifice small babes to the Hellfire, a clean oven is a must, as to not be embarrased when it's your turn to host "Ritual Sacrifice to the Unholy One" nite at your house.

Wouldn't that be great? I am beat. Friday, i had to go for jury selection. OH, the fun of sitting on hard benches for 6 hours only to not be picked. Yes, i feel rejected, criminal court is sure to miss the swift hard justice i would've hammered down on those no-goodnicks.


I therefore brought the hammer down on my apt. i spent all saturday cleaning it like i had OCD. The outcome, i found dirt and dust...GUILTY!! and now the place is nice and clean...

i give the apt. 3 days before it gets messy again.

sunday was v-ball day...man, i need the practice. there was a cameo appearance from PKNYC
who played w/ us hacks and there was much rejoicing.

popped the extra strength tylenol and now i feel so much better.

ok, back to Family Guy...why are you not watching it!!
