NBC has recently aired some new PSA (public service announcements) dealing with some of the most important issues in our post 9/11 life.
I think after watching them HERE, we'll all need a little "ME" time to think about what we can do to make our lives and the lives of those around us a little bit more bearable.

man, i confess...i haven't been in the mood for the bloggin'. i think w/ the whole weather getting nice out...spending time at the gym...i just want to go out and fly my stunt kite (next windy day, i'm out there)
so mom's b-day is tomorrow. she had a nice little shindig on saturday, where i once again lost in a cash game...but it was a good learning experience. not only did i learn how to keep track of my bankroll but i also noticed how bad my mom's friends play poker. now, there were "winners" but i was watching these guys dig in $20's, then $10's---the guy next to me dipped in at least $60...and the others dipped at least $40...so they couldn't have come up too much in the green...playing some ridiculous hands. and it got ugly at one point where there were nasty words exchanged...a "friendly" game it was. and this was a $.25/$.50 $2 limit game...me, i only lost $20 bux and lasted 3 hands before the end of game...so i think i did decently, i had a couple of bad beats...a boat to quad 8's and to quad 2's but really i'm taking as continuing education.
oh yeah, we got my mom an ipod nano, very nice. and then we went to the Snapper Inn on sunday...nice too.
had all the dogs over at once: Murphy, Jubei, Mayoki and Duncan (i'm dogsitting)...was quite fun and interesting.

V for Vendetta...Natalie bald, Agent Smith plays dress up...worth your $10.50.

Inside Man...unusually safe for a Spike Lee Joint...also worth your meager paycheck that would take you far...if you lived in Wichita.
