RUNAWAY!!!! JURY!!!
So when is mail bad? No, not when my subscription to Latin Thighs (male version, of course) runs out. When you get that stupid multi-tear envelope that states IMPORTANT: PETIT JURY SUMMONS ENCLOSED. Yikes, so on March 31st, I must check in to see if i'm a prospective juror. is it possible to temporarily saw off my legs do get that Hardship Excuse to kick in?
So i tried running last nite, after that nice little flu thingy i had last week. felt pretty good, a bit congested and coughing just a wee bit...we'll see how i feel tomorrow. i held back my visit to Synergy b/c i wanted to test the waters first with the running. unfortunately, w/ that stupid CI course and Salsa class wednesday, i won't be able to run again until friday...which may be OK, as i'm going to try out the gym that nite.
oh yeah, go out and git y'self a Pasta Express, i bought 2 over the weekend, one for m'self and another as a house warming gift for friends. things friggin' sweet. i pastasized all nite sunday and feasted upon it for dinner and for lunch today. can't wait to try hot dogs and shrimps! too bad you can't squeeze steak in there and boil it. that would be hot!
lastly, i love those VW Golf commercials w/ Peter Stormare, "Unpimping your ride". it makes me want a VW GTI now...i got me wee little Pulsar, "...it's definitely sucking..."
Good times, good times...

You've Got A Friend...House II.
So on Friday, we celebrated the "Hooray! 6 people (possibly 7) just quit the Physical Therapy Department at Bellevue Hospital!" party at the Friend House II, thai.sushi joint. it's a cute little place on 14th b/wn 2nd and 3rd ave. sushi was delish...had this sakura roll that was really good! the dearly departed not only came from Bellevue but one of the sexy one's friends (and stony brook alums) from Coler-Goldwater on Roosevelt Island will be joining SN at Columbia. so i'm happy that she'll have someone w/ her to keep her company as she transitions.
if you're a reader of the PKNYC, you'll know that the APTA Crendentialed Clinical Instructor (CI) Program is not exactly the best course i've taken. i think the operative word i would use to describe the class would be..."DUH!" but who am i? so we have 2 more nites of this, who will survive, and what will be left of them? i think it's funny that i'll be going back to school and when i start my clinicals, i'll be able to set goals for my CI. nice.
so with my immune system willing, i will be test driving a Synergy near my house in my attempt to not die (as per my doctor). it's a bit small, no rock wall but it has the essentials. i'm apparently signed up for the boxing class tomorrow and they're offering me a really cheap rate. i'm just concerned about parking, which doesn't look too bad, but it's a sunday.
