THE NON-FANTASTIC FOUR
have you seen this? It's the so-called "Fantastic Four"
it's craptacular.
in other news. on sunday, pater and i were doing laundry, the place was packed and we were waiting for machines. so i walk over to someone who was taking her clothes out of one machine...this tiny lady of latin descent (i am refraining from using any derogatory terms here, b/c she really pissed me off) comes over and cuts in front of me and starts putting clothes in the machine...i say "excuse me!! this is my machine", she doesn't even look at me and replies, "me, aqi" a few times. i stood there flabbergasted, trying to really not punch this lady in the throat. so i walk away, fuming, wishing death upon her and her entire family...i tell this to pater, who can feel the vibe of my anger--veins popping and everything. so she goes and buys some hubba bubba gum, chews it and sticks it in the woman's wash (it was set to hot, baby!!!)...hee, hee. imagine this stupid old lady's surprise as she sticks the stuff in the dryer!!! i wish we could see her face, but alas, we did not. it didn't make me feel better either--only skinning her alive in front of her grandchildren and stapling the skin back on inside out would probably do the trick.
ok, in happy news...i'm hoping to get an audition for this. so wish luck upon me.

ok, so i bought this showerhead from waterpik yesterday. i've been inspired to take showers from now on. it's like raining in your house...best part, it's handheld detachable---better part, you can focus pressure in the middle for a rinse setting. absolutely orgasmic
so how cold was it last nite? usually i'm resistant to cold, but as i walked little italy i had quite the chill. and all the san gennaro festivities had just closed down, so we ended up getting pasteries from ferrara's. a cannoli here, a napoleon there, rainbow cookies (oh wait, we didn't get those---DAMN IT!!)
so pater and i took in the trash can sinatras show at the bowery ballroom last nite. the opening was this fellow scot, roddy hart, who was really good--very david gray, badly drawn boy. frank reader of the trash cans joined in a couple of songs, which really psyched everyone up. i was surprised to see that it was packed out--the bowery is an awesome venue. we got there early enough to snag a balcony table closest to the stage--it was that kind of concert where you just want to lounge out, drink and enjoy. and the trash cans did not disappoint, they played the songs i liked on the new album and put in some awesome classics that i hadn't heard the first time i saw them. they actually sounded, 10x better too in this place. in their encore, they played my email addy---genius i was, so you know i was pretty excited. i stole a poster that was left outside the men's room, my apologies to the dope who would left it out there.
i had KFC. i don't know why i do...i get sick each time. the oily taste was in my mouth 'til at least 3am...when i got home i was so wired w/ my coffee from ferraras, that i rocked out on the keyboard for like an hour....just couldn't sleep! thank god the rain is gone, time to enjoy my sunday. woo hoo!!
