Thank God This Week is Over

This past week was so crappy, i wasn't focused at work at all, i was cranky (sorry nan), and friday, my beloved ipod died and last night, the hands i received last night in poker were worse than an unlotioned calloused ridden happy ending in a chinatown parlour. i was hoping that in the spirit of Easter (happy easter), Eustacia (my ipod) would be resurrected. i left her in the bose, so when i get home, she'll be good as knew. but back to poker, i was getting the shittiest hands, we're talking 4 ,6 offsuit, 3, 9--J, 2. but i actually one on 2,9 off suit twice! that hand is now called the Walrus (after the beany baby i got as a baby shower party favor). i will always play this hand from now on. the worst part is that ron actually won...he had the nuts all night! If that's not Mercury Retrograde at it's most potent, i don't know what is. ron never wins at poker, the last time he won at poker it was still the 90's.

for those keeping track, Mercury retrograde ends april 11th.

so i'm having easter dinner at the waldrons today...which means a meal well eaten always. and then back to work tomorrow, w/ the hopes that i can reboot.

bumped into steve and karen at the dog run yesterday...bella (their neopolitan mastiff) was in super hyper mode. of course, jubei doesn't play w/ her, but i did and got drool all over me. but she's so cute, that it's worth it. steve proposed a camping trip end of april...sounds good to me. as long as it doesn't conflict w/ the Family Guy Live!!! Apr. 30th. i'm seething w/ anticipation juice over going to this.
