alright, i'll get off the life is what happens to other people blog entries and share my weekend. well, the deirdster of Velvetde fame was out in the NYC this past weekend, hubby eric was gonna chill out w/ bono...for a nice review, go read Simmy's blog. we met saturday morning w/ the waldron clan and blast from the past con nino, Kim and baby Matthew at the Blue Ribbon Bakery, where we ate downstairs in the dungeon, next to the wine cellar and ovens...quite a place, and i ate bacon...only b/c nancy couldn't come and i did it to spite her. thanks to the waldrons for treating us to a wonderful brunch! soon after, mike myers almost had the pleasure of having coffee w/ us at a nearby cafe, but there was no room for us. so ended my visit w/ the deirdster at the Cafe Angelique w/ eric and their friend chris. it was like they never left our beautiful city. later that nite, my old roommate, peachy, was in town for her class and so we met up at Caliente Cab down in the village for dinner and margarhitas. fun time was had by all...despite the torrential downpour. yeah, so i actually did stuff over a weekend!! i doubt this will be a trend as i have my midterm next week and stress decides to come back.

oh and i screwed up this morning...woke up too late and missed out on getting prime seats for depeche mode. i hope steve was able to procure some sweet seats. blah.
