SERENITY NOW! SERENITY NOW! or one of the best movies you'll never see

i don't know why i didn't see this sooner, i mean...spaceships, guns, hot chicks, hot chicks fighting and shooting guns and flying spaceships...Joss Whedon, for chrissakes, which means, snappy dialogue causing chock full o' chuckles!!! well, all that was recitified as the nan and i spent this rainy afternoon at the cineplex, taking in this fine film.

now, i've probably only seen 1, 2...1 at the most, episodes of Firefly, which is probably one of the reasons why i waited on this flick. but i figured i wouldn't be too in the dark about the plot, b/c there would be as always a bit of exposition in the beginning that would bring things up to speed. the movie is so classic whedon!! wisecracks galore mixed in w/ colorful characters, and takes your typical good vs. evil type plot, and screws that up a bit too---and the reavers kinda freak me out too. the movies doesn't get caught up in the CGI and action scenes to detract from shitty dialogue and plot (and i'm not talking about star wars, of course...OH WAIT, yes i am). there were some scenes that i thought would get heavyhanded, but never really crossed over. overall, totally worth your 10 bux and change, HELL, i would go see it again if you want company. most of all, sexy nan liked it...though i still can't convince her that Buffy was one of the best shows that ever graced the boobtube.

next stop, the firefly
box set...i must watch.

oh yeah...check this sh*t out...a Video iPod!!!. why can't i just squander my money on this, oh why!!!! then again, just another reason to get mugged over, isn't it?
