so i really screwed myself up. not only has my cold gotten worse (hey, it was like 40 degrees out...so i don't wear a jacket) but i've developed a nice case of medial epicondylitis or golfer's elbow. i graduated to the red grabs on the wall and i had one really bad reach 1/2 way up...i lost my footing and in trying to hold, strained my wrist flexors in the process. now, to describe the pain--imagine sticking a hyperdermic needle into your elbow and leave it there while u try to wiggle ur fingers...that's smarts. best part is that the japanese are really something else, i've begun using this special tape developed by japanese doctor's and PT's that help reduce muscle strain...feels so good, but the tape i got is hot pink, so i look kinda girly. i mean, i look girly w/o the tape--more girly

found out that one of our medical assistants got fired today (she was always coming in late---we start at 11am folks), and that lizbeth, who used to work at the front desk is also gone--all the charm that was the front desk is gone. first, yvonne--(who i admit was more than a little sweet on), now her niece...'tis sad. am i concerned about my job security...nah, i've built up a pretty good patient workload, but the bossman was all too eager to approve my vacation...hmmm. i really need to be more motivated to study for that damn ACE personal trainer certification. anyway, what a waste o' a day--oliver (the other PT) and i were anticipating the arrival of a very purty new patient and she was a no show!! we were gonna fight over who was gonna treat her! why did i come in? oh yeah, b/c i have to be responsible adult...this sucks. we then realized that the distribution of patients is quite uneven...oliver gets all the old females and big males...and i get all the young (some quite easy on the eyes) women, and only have 1 male patient. the other therapist, fran--she gets all the rest of the guys and the problem (read "bitchy") female patients...ergo, i throw oliver a bone and let her treat the new patient. my good deed for the year.
