VACATION...finally

So i finally booked my flight and my hike to beautiful havasu canyon!!!

need to also find some place to whitewater raft in the area, if anyone knows--suggestions please. will the shoulder be alright by then, you ask yourself? of course, but i will have injured something else i'm sure in the meantime. co-workers are betting that i will be coming back in a bag...i think there's going to be an office pool. so spent my day doing nothing at work, and when i was working, doing the job of a medical assistant...but i did get a lot of sympathy from my patients, which is always good.

had dinner at the ocean grill. prie fixe menu 30 bucks!! love that restaurant week! so i had the sea scallops as an appetizer--which was awesome. and for dinner had this thing called skate---which is apparently stingray or something. very, very good. and finished it off with some orange creamsicle...yum, yum. now, i hate seafood. but i decided to experiment...and i know i have been anti sushi--but next week, i'm heading out to Mt. Fuji and i will have to partake in the sushi-osity. wish me luck.

so i have to make a toast at this wedding tomorrow...don't really know the bride, so what does one say about the bride who is more or less a complete stranger. actually skipping out on the ceremony itself to go have some dim sum for my friend wink's birthday---who happens to be as old as simone

and in better news...since my sister works for pace university...she gets discounts at the apple store!!! woo hoo!! 15% i believe...might have to get an ibook
